I bought the SOS Talisman for my husband who at only 42 has a very rare form of cancer in his head. He has undergone major neurosurgery, chemo and radiotherapy. The Talisman actually acted as piece of mind for myself when he was able to go out on his own and return to work as I knew if he was ever to take unwell when I wasn't there then all his medical details are immediately to hand. He's not very keen on jewellery and at first was reluctant to wear anything until I found the sports watch (very him). We're both delighted and a bit more at ease. Many thanks for your idea. E Fallon, Elderslie

I bought my bracelet as a gift from my husband. I have been on a lot of medication for asthma & arthritis for a few years and always had my information written down in a little book.
However at the beginning of last year I was diagnosed with a further lung disease BRONCHIECTASIS which involves more medication and a lot of chest physiotherapy. When my son received his gift I decided it would be a good idea for me to have a SOS Talisman as well. By wearing it I feel that should it become necessary all my information is easily available. L. Fazakerley, Wirral

I had a seizure and no one was around. The bright sunlight affected my eyes and I blacked out. My dog had to run home and alert my husband! Now I have my watch Talisman on so that if this happens again I have peace of mind regarding contact details and my dog does not have to act like Lassie! Louise Pallett

I am allergic to some of the strongest and most popular antibiotics that doctors tend to prescribe and I also suffer with Crohns Disease so by wearing a sos talisman I have complete ease of mind that should I ever be unable to voice this information for myself and especially since I have immigrated abroad that this universally recognisable symbol could just save my life. A Matyus, Dubai

I had a heart attack and was advised to carry spray in case of angina. Luckily I have never needed it but makes you feel secure to know if I did need help the sos talisman would let any first aider or paramedic etc. know the problem immediately especially as I visit my daughter in Australia. This is in fact why I needed a new insert apart from the fact that the first one was a bit faded. Hopefully with the new waterproof pen this should not be a problem any more. M Fennell, Leeds

I bought a stainless steel St Christopher ladies SOS Talisman bracelet and the quality is excellent.
I have bought several bracelets. The first one I bought for myself in 2003. It makes me feel very reassured that If anything does happen to me the medical services would know how to treat me. I was so impressed I have bought several of them for family members whose health isn't 'perfect' so we can all be reassured they too get the best medical help when they need it. M Smedley, Swadlincote

I already have a wonderful SOS Talisman steel bracelet which I never take off. I purchased the new strip pack with the keying and stickers. These are very useful as I can put one in my car and one by my front door - just in case!!
I was bought the talisman and I have an undiagnosed condition which means I fall down and can be paralysed for a short while. This was ideal as I also suffer from allergies which means I can put all those on too. I have recommended them to all my family as there are some diabetics. The strip idea is brilliant as you can change it if your symptoms change and also if you go on holiday.
S Sherwood-Burnish, Waterlooville

I bought an sos talisman shortly after being diagnosed with Addison's disease, i chose it because i could put all of my information on the reel of paper rather than just my illness etched on the back. the sos talisman is very easy to use and in case of an emergency very easy to open, also if i need to add or change any information i can just write it out rather than having to buy another bracelet. My husband first told me about sos talisman products (he is a paramedic) and all of my family are aware because i informed them when I purchased the sos talisman I also have shown them how it works, my 2 year old even knows why mummy wears a special bracelet. I feel safe when i'm wearing it as everyone (including my local ambulance service) is aware of the product S Cockerill, Hull

My son bought me my ladies silver sos talisman bracelet with the snake and staff emblem on it online for my birthday this year. I already own 2 necklaces with my diabetic status on them but as I enjoy wearing lots of other different types of necklaces, I felt that they weren't quite doing the job! My bracelet is beautiful and with no conflict of other jewellery getting in the way, is worn all the time.
I feel safe and secure knowing that if anything should happen then any medical staff will have my history to hand.
Thank you so much for my lovely bracelet and my peace of mind! Every one I know is shown and told about my bracelet, I'm such a show off! And, yes, they do know where I got it from.
I wanted a piece of jewellery I could wear all the time, every day. Having just come through a couple of months feeling quite vulnerable the feeling of security and safety that my bracelet has given me is indescribable. C Stevenson, Lee On The Solent

Looked at a number of products & thought SOS Talisman was best. Like the fact that there are no on-going costs, can be updated easily by me with replacement strips and that replacement parts are available.
Also, I think that SOS Talisman is quite well-known and respected. Very pleased with my purchases. J. Bethell, Preston

I
bought this item because of the medical condition I have. I work for a hospital and see many people who come in to hospital, a lot of which cannot tell doctors or nurses what is wrong with them. I decided to get an sos talisman as I feel that with one of these doctors will see it and with all the informationthat is on it, You will receive the proper treatment quicker. Having one of these talismans also gives me a feeling of security. G Tabone, South Shields

My Talisman was a gift from my Mother, which makes it special anyway, but it has helped me many times. I have Lupus and I am allergic to many things, including sunlight. I take quite a lot of medication, but I cannot take the normal treatment for Lupus, which could put me at risk if I wasn`t able to explain. J Hickabottom, Scunthorpe

When I became diabetic and had quite a few hypos in the early years I found SOS Talisman made me feel more confident should I become ill when out and about on my own. I have another medical condition and by being able to add this to the information strip further enhances my feelings of reassurance. The strip can be updated regularly so any change in medication or personal details are easily altered without any great expense. I do feel that because SOS is
internationally recognised as a sign of distress then wearing one makes a lot of sense to those who may otherwise be vulnerable. J Greenall, Winchester

After an extremely rare reaction to the General Anaesthetic which nearly proved fatal during a routine operation earlier in the year, i was diagnosed positive for Malignant Hyperpyrexia (MH). This is a genetic condition in which a gene mutation causes the patients body to react abnormally to ceratin gases used during a GA. A 45 minute operation suddenly went badly wrong and after 7 hours in recovery and near death it was terrifying scary to think of what could have happened. During the operation the anaesthetist recognised the reaction and knew to call the MH unit in Leeds (The only specialist unit in the country) to get advice as to how to deal with me. A delay of minutes could have proved fatal. I now have all the details about MH on my talisman with details of specialists and emergency numbers. I am reassured that if i was on my own and unconscious for what ever reason when taken into hospital the medical staff would know all about my condition and treatment would be given accordingly. It makes me feel safe! T Binns, Andover

I am allergic to Iodine (amongst others) and we know that if at any time there is an accident the emergency services use Iodine. I want safety for myself whether it be in England or abroad. It is recognised all over the world as the International health Symbol so I know that wherever I am, even just shopping, if there is an emergency, everyone, everywhere will know what I am allergic to and where I live and who to contact. I have the stickers in my car window so the services know I wear one. J Saunders, Salisbury

I would say it was the best medical alert system on the market as you can write enough detail on the strips held inside to ensure the person gets the right help required in the quickest way possible - especially if they are unable to say what is the matter themselves. Also there are quite a few different styles available now.
I bought the watch type for my teenage son who is insulin dependent diabetic. He previously had the bracelet type but wanted something a bit different and this achieved this for him. My daughter also wears a bracelet type one as she is allergic to penicillin. I feel they give me peace of mind that if anything happened to them the hospital or wherever they are would be able to contact me quicker and most importantly deal with the problem a lot safer and quicker - this includes when we have travelled abroad as I have found it is internationally recognised too - and not queried at airports either! K Keech, Hull

My mother suffers from dementia and very occasionally has been known to wander out of her sheltered accommodation at which time she becomes confused and cannot remember her name and where she has come from.  As a result I felt it would be safer if she had some form of identification with her.
My daughter is a nurse and suggested a bracelet would be a good idea and the Warden of the sheltered accommodation gave me your contact address. J Jordan, Hertford

The SOS Talisman is superbly made, very attractive and serves its purpose very well. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes 2.1/2 years ago, but after controlling it with diet only for all that time, it has now changed and I have been put onto tablets. After reading about diabetes I learned about medical alert bracelets etc., so I phoned my local jeweller and he told me about the SOS Talisman range. I thought this was a far better option, so I bought a stainless steel bracelet then logged onto your website and decided to buy the pendant. I use the bracelet while at the gym or swimming. It makes me feel safe when I wear it, knowing that all my details are enclosed and I have shown it to all my work colleagues who were amazed that such a product existed. K Craig, Clackmannan

You really can see the quality of the solid gold
SOS Talisman that I bought for my partners 40th Birthday, a beautiful piece of jewellery that I know will look after him. B Howard, Yorkshire

5 stars, great quality, the thread on the pendant is very well made and the workmanship is very very good on the stainless steel pendant. Very safe. I recently attended a First Aid course and the instructor was very pleased I was wearing mine as its the first thing you are trained to look for on a person. Its nice to know the
SOS Talisman is used by the St Johns First Aid. S A Case, Birmingham

I purchased a stainless steel bracelet for my wife because she has quite a complicated medical history.
the recent additional diagnosis of Addison's disease meant that she is now on steroids and along with all her other daily medication the likelihood of any emergency staff fully understanding her regime is remote.
the wearing of the bracelet has made both of us easier in our minds that the info is readily available without us worrying that the information she carries in her handbag could be missed or the bag go missing/lost should an accident occur.
we consider it a vital item and only wish we knew about it years ago.
This is a wonderful product backed by a well run and informative web
site by dedicated caring people.
we cant thank you enough for the peace of mind you have given both of us.Many Thanks C Buchanan Kelty

I wasn't aware that I had any allergies but in November 2007 I was admitted to hospital for routine toe surgery. During the operation I suffered anaphylactic shock to the anaesthetic and almost died in the operating theatre. I was allergic to one of the drugs which was given in the anaesthetic cocktail. I now wear my Talisman which has the details of the drug I am allergic to and would be a life-saver for me literally, especially if I was unconscious and unable to inform medical personnel. P. Mitchell, Baldock

My Wife purchased my pendant for me, as being recently diagnosed as diabetic and also having to take warfarin, thought it would be the best way of alerting people to my condition if there was no body with me if i had an accident or became unwell. As the pendant has a recognised logo that is known world wide, I thought it was ideal for holidays abroad.
Personally i feel that now i have the pendant to wear, if i ever was taken ill or had an accident, wearing the pendant would immediately alert people to my condition and make them aware of what might have caused what was wrong with me and what treatment i might need. In short i feel safe. Peter Griffiths

I bought the Talisman pendant as I have Factor V (high risk of developing a blood clot). I discovered this when I had a DVT three years ago. I also suffer from bronchial asthma.
As we were travelling to Berlin I wanted to be reassured that in the event of an accident I would be given the appropriate treatment. C J Langer, London

Everyone seems to notice my SOS Talisman unless I have it below my shirt wearing a fancy necklace on top of my shirt. All my family and friends and some work colleagues know about it.
I suffer from mild Asthma but I become wheezey with Tietze's Syndrome. (also known as costochondral junction syndrome, tietze's syndrome, tietze's disease (disorder), costochondral joint syndrome, tietze's disease, slipping rib syndrome).
I am sure that it is almost an every day expectancy to look out for someone's SOS Talisman as it seems a large percentage of today's population is at least asthmatic or has some other medical condition. My son has just hay fever but he can take a reaction very severely.
I feel that walking around in cities there are people you shall never know but if you have an accident there is generally always a friend. Having met an ambulance crew I understand their side to why an SOS could even help me. My husband wanted me to have one but I felt my condition was minor. I am comfortable in wearing it and I am trying to save up for a 9ct gold SOS Talisman, but this is a bit too expensive for me. L Wilson, Swindon

I had seen the necklace Talisman on a friend many years ago and was impressed with the idea. In February 2000 i had quite a severe heart attack - from which i made a full recovery - but felt that because of my condition at the time, along with the medication that i have been prescribed and
because i travel a fair bit, the  relevance and freedom of mind that carrying my personal medical
details on my person came to the fore. Knowing that the talisman is recognised world wide it was my obvious choice and was pleased to find the bracelet, particularly as I prefer not to wear jewellery around my neck, it is with me 24hours a day. H Hedley, Dunstable

My husband bought my talisman over 30 years ago with a steel chain as i am allergic to nickel. I am still wearing same chain & talisman, it has never been off my neck since getting it. I am allergic to penicillin that is why i got one since then i am diabetic & now found out i have angina so all that information is useful if anything happens. I have only changed the strips to keep it updated of illnesses & new address when moved house. It is recognised all over the world all your information is at hand. M Holden, Bo'ness

I bought the stainless steel watch bracelet @ sos talisman for my mum. She told me that she would like one as she has a few serious illnesses. It was also peace of mind for me knowing that she would get appropriate medical help if needed. My mum was over the moon receiving the watch SOS and I know that she always wears it when she goes out of the home.
Mrs T Hirons, Redcar, Cleveland

Excellent range of products to suite every taste that can be worn discretely. I have been diagnosed with Meniere's disease and I bought my SOS Talisman to help the people who want to help me in the event of a Meniere's attack. I receive a great deal of comfort knowing that I have all the bases covered and in the event of an attack the necessary information regarding my treatment {as already been prescribed }can be presented to the professionals.
C E Brown, Crombie, Scotland

The SOS Talisman looks to be hardwearing and air tight, which is needed, also it does not look out of place on your wrist, because of the materials you have used. I purchased the bracelet for my husband who is diabetic, as he travels abroad and in the UK quite frequently, I feel that it is important that his medical information is to hand which gives me peace of mind as well. C Williams, Cardiff

Excellent quality. Everything fitted together perfectly, no fiddly forcing bits into place; the two sides of the
SOS Talisman unscrewed and screwed back again easily and securely.
I'd recently found I have asthma. Also that I am allergic to one of the treatments for asthma. Therefore having my SOS Talisman on me, stating what medication I am on, and what I am allergic to, makes me feel much safer, and therefore happier. C Smith, Falkirk

The watch talisman is extremely well made and it fits snugly around my wrist, I am pleased with the quality, it looks just like a real piece of jewellery. I had a blood clot last year and I am now on warfarin for the rest of my life. By wearing my watch type
SOS Talisman I feel safe in the knowledge that all my details are instantly available should I need them. Irene Rogers, Peacehaven

I wear the watch type Talisman because I am on a life time regime of warfarin with a high INR range. The yellow book is quite cumbersome but I can wear the watch type all the time. Richard Manser, Worcester

I originally purchased my Talisman stainless steel pendent and necklace from a jewellers shop in Guernsey some 20 years ago.T he pendent is still original but i have replaced 3 chains so far!.
I have worn the SOS talisman stainless steel necklace and pendent for over 20 years. I used to travel around the UK quite a lot by car, some 20-30,000 miles per annum, and the risk of an accident was very high now I tend to fly or use the train but the Talisman is still there should anything untoward happen to me.
I also purchased bracelets and pendants for mother members of my family over the years.
As an accident investigator and ex-ambulance service officer I cannot recommend the Talisman highly enough. Now that I travel in Europe more I am confident that I can get the correct medical treatment wherever I am once the medical staff look at my Talisman. G Ellis

I have Addison`s Disease. I swim and run so I find the sports SOS very good I feel safer when I wear it.
M Markham. Manchester

I bought the sports watch type with velcro strap. Recently diagnosed as needing Warfarin permanently and decided it would make this obvious in a medical situation if I was unable to speak. Wore it this week for first time when visiting my local surgery nurse to give blood sample - she recognised it right away. She thought it a good idea in my personal situation! R R Trevennen, Cambourne

My SOS Talisman was bought over 17 years ago and has been on my wrist every day since then. It is only now that the loops and links that join the talisman to the bracelet have become so thin that i am now in the process of replacing it for my own safety sake.
I currently have the Silver bracelet which is always on me. I have two pendant necklaces as well. I am a volunteer outdoor instructor in Sailing, power boating, archery and burn running. Burn running involves being in water, scrambling up over rocks, negotiating rock pools and waterfalls whilst assisting young people to do the same. For safety we do not wear anything that could easily be caught, hence the pendant which i can tuck inside my wetsuit. After my activities i return back to the bracelet as my preferred option.
When i was 24 i took a reaction to Penicillin for the first time in my life. Fortunately the reaction was slow, it was a warning. Although i was severely uncomfortable and had to take other medication to alter the reaction, i was alright. I was informed in no uncertain terms that the next time i take penicillin the reaction will be hard and fast. I have not even to try other "strains" of Penicillin.
At that time i lived on my own, did a lot of outdoor activities and led an active life. I needed to be sure that if I was ever unable to speak for myself, for whatever reason, no one in the medical profession would feed me penicillin. I sent my mum out shopping for me and the SOS talisman is what she came back with. Over the years the insert details have changed a few times. Only recently i was persuaded to take a risk and leave the bracelet and necklace off for a few hours. This was for my wedding ceremony. Needless to say after the ceremony and photos!
, it was back on the wrist again. I do get asked what the bracelet is for. People tend to be surprised when i tell them what is inside as they originally at first glance thought it was a watch. Other people have asked me immediately why i wear one, then admit afterwards that they are connected some way to the medical profession. I really appreciate my bracelet, would never be without one, and even though i do not have much money, i am definitely replacing my worn out one today. Thank you for a reliable, invaluable product. J MacGregor, Moodiesburn

I had a horse riding accident age 14ish and have been worried ever since that no one would know who I was if anything happened.
I brought the necklace but wasn't comfortable with it so replaced it with a bracelet. I now ride a motorbike and found that under scarves, leather jackets and thick gloves no one would find my bracelet, they wouldn't know to look for it, so I took the chain from the pendent and replaced it with a key ring and clip and clipped the pendent to my leather jacket zipper.
Now I am happy that if the worst happens my details are not hidden under layers of leather and will be easy to see so I wont have to wait for the police to check my bikes registration to find out who I am (probably wont help so much as its registered to my husband who works night and could sleep through an air raid siren).
The bracelet has completely removed my fear of being unknown and after 10 months I hardly know its there and often forget to tighten it for days at a time but its never leaked. T Buck, Nuneaton

I bought the bracelet as I was advised by a nurse in A&E hospital to wear one as I have a very severe reaction to some antibiotics. I feel as though if anything happened to me, a medical person would be aware of my allergy and would therefore not give me antibiotics that do not agree with me. J Thorp

It is just how we had hoped it would be. I bought the product for my daughter who has eplisepy. This was recommended by ambulance crew. I am glad she wears it, it give me peace of mind that if she does have a seizure away from home someone will know how to take care of her and that I am easily contacted. She is also happy to wear it and confident. J Gardiner, Christchurch

Nice feel. Chunky bracelet. Easy to follow instructions on web site. I have a severe latex allergy and it is nice to know that emergency services would be aware of this if at any time I became unconscious C Austin-Jones, Croydon

I love my bracelet! It has a nice size and weight to it, and I am pleasantly surprised at the quality work that went into this bracelet. The sterling is just beautiful and the caduceus is tasteful while practical. Even if someone in the USA is not familiar with SOS Talisman products, seeing the medical sign will let them know that I have a medical condition. I received my bracelet for my birthday, and my 3 year old son keeps telling me, "I love your pretty bracelet!" I like the fact wearing my bracelet lets people know that I do have a medical condition without being obvious, and no one needs to see what the condition is unless I allow them to see it, or it is an emergency situation. I am a private person, and I like not having to advertise exactly what my medical condition is. I have been wearing it for 5 days now, and it hasn't gotten any water in it yet! Thanks SOS Talisman!
I bought the Sterling Silver ladies SOS Talisman Caduceus (snake & staff) bracelet. I bought my SOS Talisman bracelet because I was recently diagnosed with Crohn's disease and I am allergic to bees, wasps, and several common medications. I feel so much more secure now that I have my bracelet. I am very relieved and I feel a sense of peace knowing that if I am in an emergency situation, my information will be readily available. J Hicks, Kentucky, USA

I bought a SOS Talisman bracelet in stainless steel with the medical symbol on the reverse side.
I have post-traumatic syringomyelia c4-c7, and if I'm ever in a car accident and not able to communicate, the paramedics have a way of knowing that I have had a previous cervical spinal cord injury and to be careful of my neck. The emergency physicians will also be able to check to see if there is further damage. I also have fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, mitral valve prolapse, I am allergic to eggs and I am on medication. All of these things paramedics and emergency physicians may need to know.
K Keehn, Livonia, USA

The SOS Talisman Bracelet that i purchased from Talisman Online was just what I wanted to inform anybody that I am diabetic, if I am incapacitated and unable to communicate. The bracelet was delivered very promptly and well packed. I would recommend the company and products to anybody, especially anybody with a disabling condition. M Ekema

Being diabetic and being a motorcyclist I needed a way to inform medics of my condition should I be unconscious. Makes me much feel safer and more confident of receiving correct treatment in the event of a road accident. W Heap, Atherstone

My daughter's epilepsy can only be described as predictable by its unpredictability! Her seizures can come out of the blue, after a long time without seizures and can send her spiralling into status with little or no warning. As well as this, she has a habit of apparently recovering from a seizure only to then slip into status requiring ventilation in ICU.
Needless to say, as a teenager, the more information I can have her carry, the better. SOS talisman holds all the details of her, her medications, condition and its presentation and also my details. SOS Talisman gives my daughter and I peace of mind. The knowledge that she can go and be a normal student in college, but with all the information needed in the case of an incident is priceless. C S Hawkins, Cambridgeshire

My brother bought me my SOS Talisman bracelet. I am allergic to Morphine and was very concerned about what would happen if I collapsed and wasn't able to tell anyone. My brother is a paramedic and when he started this line of work he became aware of how important something like this is. He therefore went out and got one for me straight away. I now feel safe in the knowledge that if I can't communicate with anyone then at least my talisman can tell them. D Hall, Bedford

When I found out I had Diabetes I started on tablets then within ten months I had to go onto insulin. When I started on insulin therapy my husband bought me a SOS Talisman so when I was out without him and I fell ill like have a hypo the medical services would know what medication I am taking plus it could save my life. The SOS Talisman is the best thing my husband could have bought me now he doesn't worry when I am out without him. Thank you Talisman for such a wonderful product. Y Edhouse, Stockport

We have a severely disabled daughter who is now age 34, she is epileptic and badly brain damaged, she cannot talk or do anything much for herself so we bought her a SOS talisman in case she ever collapses when we are not with her to enable people to know what her problems are and her medication.
We hope it is never brought into use but its a comfortable thought knowing tyhat a silent helper is on hand. Jeff Groves

I bought the stainless steel model for my Dad who has Alzheimer's disease. He is in a care home but he had learned how to unlock the front door and had wandered off and got lost. He was really pleased with the bracelet and wears it all the time. I wrote the details of his name and address and who to contact should anyone see him in the street. L Fisher,Swindon

Bought for mother-in-Law with Alzheimer's. A lady determined to maintain her independence but, is rapidly deteriorating. We fear she may begin to go 'walk -about'. J Burnell, Lichfield

I have a condition called Hypopituitarism and I am taking steroids permanently so it is to let doctors and/or paramedics know what I have got in am emergency. As well as giving me confidence it is also an attractive piece of jewellery. T S Pocock, London

I bought the Talisman because I have suddenly after 61 years become allergic to penicillin, I am also allergic to latex, so if I am rushed into hospital and that has happened 3 times this year (2007) the attendants know which gloves to wear. I am also awaiting a heart by-pass, so again if I am rushed into hospital they know exactly what medication I am on. This gives me an awful lot of confidence. G Holy, Deeside

I had a stroke while driving on a motorway but was able to use a mobile phone to call an ambulance. My blood pressure remains raised and I am concerned that if I have a further stroke the symptoms may be misunderstood. My symptoms included extreme nausea and the inability to balance - some people may have thought that I was drunk!
The SOS Talisman provides information about an existing heart problem, my current medication and details of my previous stroke. This information would be available even if I became unconscious. I have a SOS Talisman sticker in my car. S Sedgman, Totnes

The background is that my wife has a very rare blood group and was told to carry a card which said she should only be given plasma until a proper match had been made. She did not carry the card; it was too much bother and was not a credible defence against errors. This always worried me and when the blood transfusion service gave me a key fob with my blood group on it I did not use it for the car keys; I felt that, if Alwyn had the car, the fob would increase the chance of a mistake.
At the end of May my heart developed atrial fibrillations which resulted in a blood clot hitting my lung. This was very painful but the hospital cleared it up OK but put me on Warfarin to prevent any recurrence.
At this point Alwyn suggested I wore this pendant she had found on the internet. I agreed to be poncey enough to wear a necklace if she would too. We sent off for 2 pendants. I have removed the "I give blood" sticker from the car back window (after 70 donations they don't want my blood anymore - just because I eat rat poison) and put up the "I wear SOS Talisman" sticker. Whoever has the car the statement is true. E Hill, Gloucester

I have been taking anti coagulants since 1978 the bracelet gives peace of mind knowing if I have an accident it will inform everyone that I have a serious bleeding condition. Since then I have also been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, this means I can fall and injure myself at any time and due to taking Warfarin the bruising can be severe. I get around on my Mobility Scooter and it is so re-assuring knowing that my bracelet contains my medical conditions as well as medications and contact numbers, I wouldn't be without an SOS Talisman. S Butler, Brentford

I have a rare form of Haemophilia. My Doctor advise me to purchase one, due to the distance i'm having to drive to and from work. E. Dunne, Farnborough

The quality is excellent and it also looks good as a piece of jewellery. It is also watertight. I suffer from heart failure and type two diabetes so I feel it is essential that if I am taken ill and unable to communicate that the correct information is available about my medication.
It could prove to be a life saver and I feel much safer wearing it. I bought the SOS Talisman because it is the most well known brand that I know of, it is a one off payment and the maintenance costs (i.e. spare strips) are very low and easy to order. G Marshall, Tamworth

I think the
SOS Talisman is a fine product that has been carefully made to last a lifetime of wearing. I purchased the Talisman for my daughter who has Partial-complex epilipsy. She is away at college, but can have a seizure if under certain conditions.
Just recently, she had to have some tests done but was a bit dehydrated. She started seizing and was sent to the E.R, wasting valuable time in treating her. I bought the Talisman to give us both some piece of mind, so if she has a seizure during a regular doctors visit, they will have all the necessary information readily available, saving precious seconds if emergency treatment is needed. A. Alvarado, Mesa, Arizona USA

The quality of the SOS Talisman is very good. Much better than anticipated. It makes a lovely piece of jewellery as well as keeping you safe! I am travelling to America on my own in July and for piece of mind for me and my family I thought it best to have medical information, especially regarding my epilepsy, at hand. J Timothy, Birmingham

I am very pleased with sos talisman bracelet I bought. I bought it because I am emigrating to South Australia to live and as the sos talisman is known world wide I feel that when I am wearing it where ever I am people would know what to do so it makes me feel safer. Spencer Allsop, Norwich

I found the quality of my talisman excellant, packaging, instructions, prompt service all wonderful. I bought a Gold plated talisman, with birth sign engraving. After recent operation I suffered respiratory arrest after having morphine and other opiates. I was informed by medical staff to wear a medical alert as have always been sensitive to the above. I feel safer with my sos talisman, especially when on my own away from my family. H Parkinson, Weston Super Mare

A number of years ago I bought it just because I thought it was a wise thing to do - even though I was not under any care or taking any medicines. After undergoing treatment for cancer and having new medicines and restrictions I figured this was definitely a wise thing to do. I recommended it to a dear friend who has her own health battles, she ordered the SOS Talisman and was so thrilled that she, too, ordered others. I think we are going to get together over coffee and fill out our medical information!! J Parker, Wadsworth, USA
