I had a Talisman years ago but lost it. I finally replaced it this last Xmas (07) as I am allergic to penicillin and thought that I really ought to get round to it.
I was VERY impressed with the service. I ordered the snake & staff Talisman necklace 2 days after Christmas - it arrived before New Year!
It's practical, relatively unobtrusive and easy to use. It's also a consistent method of providing vital information - like blood group, medications taken as well as allergies - for use in an emergency. Putting emergency contacts on a phone may be okay, but how many times might you have your handbag with you in A&E!
It is a very good way of ensuring medical safety in case of emergency that medical personnel can access easily and consistently. The product lasts forever (as I recall from the last one) - unless you lose it (as I did) so is a worthwhile investment for peace of mind for yourself, your partner or for yourselves as parents if you have a child who may not be able to discuss matters coherently. Let's face it, we probably spend more than this amount on a night out on the town!!
