I
had a Talisman years ago but
lost it. I finally replaced it
this last Xmas (07) as I am
allergic to penicillin and
thought that I really ought to
get round to it.
I was VERY impressed with the
service. I ordered the snake &
staff Talisman necklace 2 days
after Christmas - it arrived
before New Year!
It's practical, relatively
unobtrusive and easy to use.
It's also a consistent method of
providing vital information -
like blood group, medications
taken as well as allergies - for
use in an emergency. Putting
emergency contacts on a phone
may be okay, but how many times
might you have your handbag with
you in A&E!
It is a very good way of
ensuring medical safety in case
of emergency that medical
personnel can access easily and
consistently. The product lasts
forever (as I recall from the
last one) - unless you lose it
(as I did) so is a worthwhile
investment for peace of mind for
yourself, your partner or for
yourselves as parents if you
have a child who may not be able
to discuss matters coherently.
Let's face it, we probably spend
more than this amount on a night
out on the town!!

I
would say it was the best
medical alert system on the
market as you can write enough
detail on the strips held inside
to ensure the person gets the
right help required in the
quickest way possible -
especially if they are unable to
say what is the matter
themselves. Also there are quite
a few different styles available
now.
I bought the watch type for my
teenage son who is insulin
dependent diabetic. He
previously had the bracelet type
but wanted something a bit
different and this achieved this
for him. My daughter also wears
a bracelet type one as she is
allergic to penicillin. I feel
they give me peace of mind that
if anything happened to them the
hospital or wherever they are
would be able to contact me
quicker and most importantly
deal with the problem a lot
safer and quicker - this
includes when we have travelled
abroad as I have found it is
internationally recognised too -
and not queried at airports

I
purchased an SOS
Talisman
which
came with easy to understand
instruction on how to fill out
the required information on my
medical condition. It has a
very sturdy clasp which will
never "just come off". It is
completely waterproof. I also
purchased the supplementary pack
at the same time which is useful
as being recently diagnosed with
Diabetes my insulin levels are
constantly changing and so I am
able to update my personal
information - I would recommend
buying this additional product.
I ordered via the internet which
was simple and quick. Delivery
was very prompt and I am very
pleased with my purchases.
I bought my bracelet when I
became an insulin dependent
diabetic. Now that I am wearing
it I feel safer and more
confident when I am out knowing
that should I have a "hypo or

I
bought an sos talisman shortly
after being diagnosed with
Addison's disease, i chose it
because i could put all of my
information on the reel of paper
rather than just my illness
etched on the back. the sos
talisman is very easy to use and
in case of an emergency very
easy to open, also if i need to
add or change any information i
can just write it out rather
than having to buy another
bracelet.
My
husband first told me about sos
talisman products (he is a
paramedic) and all of my family
are aware because i informed
them when I
purchased the sos talisman
I also
have shown them how it works, my
2 year old even knows why mummy
wears a special bracelet.
I feel safe when i'm

My
mother suffers from dementia and
very occasionally has been known
to wander out of her sheltered
accommodation at which time she
becomes confused and cannot
remember her name and where she
has come from. As a result I
felt it would be safer if she
had some form of identification
with her.

Purchased a Stainless Steel SOS
Talisman bracelet for my
partner's 26 year old daughter,
recently diagnosed as epileptic
