My brother bought
me an
SOS
Talisman bracelet
for Christmas. I had been trying
for a long time to find one but
the chemists and even the
hospital in Bedford either had
never heard of them or hadn't
got any.
I am now wearing my bracelet and
have entered all my medical
details. I have also printed off
several copies of the sheet
which I have placed in the car
and my handbags.
I am allergic to morphine and
therefore this could be life
saving for me. Hopefully it will
never be put into practice but
if it should thank you for such
a good invention.

My
son bought me my ladies silver
sos talisman bracelet with the
snake and staff emblem on it
online for
my birthday this year. I already
own 2 necklaces with my diabetic
status on them but as I enjoy
wearing
lots of other different types of
necklaces, I felt that they
weren't quite doing the job! My
bracelet is
beautiful and with no conflict
of other jewellery getting in
the way, is worn all the time.
I feel safe and secure knowing

Mother, which makes it special
anyway, but it has helped me
many times. I have Lupus and I
am allergic to many things,
including sunlight. I take quite
a lot of medication, but I

bought the bracelet as I am on
blood thinning medication for
life having suffered massive PEs
in my lungs. I go out running
regularly and used to carry no
form of ID at all or details of
my medical history. Now I wear
my bracelet all the time, so in
the event that something were to
happen, my medical history would
be know straight away and the
appropriate course of action
would be taken.

When I became diabetic and had
quite a few hypos in the early
years I found SOS Talisman made
me feel more confident should I
become ill when out and about on
my own. I have another medical
condition and by being able to
add this to the information
strip further enhances my
feelings of reassurance. The

so any change in medication or
personal details are easily
altered without any great

I
had a Bracelet Talisman many
years ago and quite frankly I
wore it until it was worn out, I
never replaced it until a few
weeks ago.
My allergies have increased
along with some hefty medication
which I now have to take, and i
have a different blood group to
the norm, so thought if anything
happened to me when I was away
from home and a family member
was not with me I could be in
trouble if I became unconscious.
I feel a lot safer knowing I

searched the internet for a
talisman
and was shocked to find
that they were all charging an
annual maintenance charge for
holding your details!
Sometimes this was as
much as £25 per year.
I then came across an
advert for the sos talisman,
the site was very
informative and helpful so I
decided this was the one for me.
I feel confident and secure when
I go out wearing my talisman and
sure that should the need ever
arise its there to save my life!

am allergic to Iodine (amongst
others)
and we know that if at
any time there is an accident
the emergency services use
Iodine. I want safety for myself
whether it be in England or
abroad. It is recognised all
over the world as the
International health Symbol so I
know that wherever I am, even
just shopping, if there is an
emergency, everyone, everywhere
will know what I am allergic to
and where I live and who to
contact. I have the stickers in
my car window so the services
know I wear one.

We
purchased the Talisman for our
daughter because due to her
illnesses she has been
prescribed potentially life
